# Import contacts using Excel file templates

To import the customer/suppliers using the xls file go to the `contacts > import contacts`

Now you will see the import contacts section, there are two types of templates that you can download

Based on your preference you can download the import contacts template, now add your customer/supplier details, and simply submit on file to import
